I'll play as Grandma. She's a wily one, and nobody escapes her watchful eye!

Grandma's Diary - Operation: Keep the Prisoner In!

Day 1:

Oh, that pesky prisoner thinks he can outsmart me? Not on my watch! I've been keeping an eye on him all day. He tried to sneak out through the kitchen, but I was there, knitting away by the door. "Where do you think you're going, young man?" I asked with a sweet smile. He mumbled something about needing fresh air and quickly retreated. Score one for Grandma!

Day 2:

Today, I decided to bake some of my famous apple pies. The aroma filled the house, and I could see the prisoner's nose twitching. He came into the kitchen, thinking he could distract me with compliments on my baking. "You're not going anywhere until you've had a slice," I said, cutting him a big piece. He sat down, and I kept him company, chatting about the good old days. He didn't even notice the time passing. Another day, another victory!

Day 3:

The prisoner tried to be clever today. He pretended to be sick, hoping I'd let my guard down. But I've raised five kids; I know a fake cough when I hear one. I brought him some of my special chicken soup and sat by his bedside, telling stories until he drifted off to sleep. When he woke up, it was already evening. Nice try, but Grandma's got this covered!

Day 4:

He attempted to escape through the back door today. But I was ready! I had set up a little "booby trap" with my yarn. As soon as he stepped on it, the yarn tangled around his feet, and down he went! "Oh dear, let me help you up," I said, helping him to his feet and leading him back to the living room. "Let's watch some TV together." He sighed but complied. Grandma: 4, Prisoner: 0.

Day 5:

Today, I decided to play the sympathy card. I pretended to be forgetful and asked him to help me find my glasses. We searched the entire house, and by the time we found them (right where I left them, of course), it was too late for him to make a run for it. "Thank you, dear. You're such a good boy," I said, patting his cheek. He looked defeated but managed a small smile. I've got this game in the bag!

Day 6:

The prisoner seemed resigned today. He didn't even try to escape. Instead, he joined me for tea and biscuits. We talked about his family, and he seemed to relax a bit. I kept the conversation going, subtly reminding him of the warmth and comfort of home. "You're not going anywhere tonight," I said gently. "Let's play some cards." He nodded, and we spent the evening playing Go Fish. Another day, another win for Grandma!

Day 7:

It's been a week, and the prisoner hasn't made a single successful escape attempt. Today, I caught him trying to sneak out the window, but I was ready with my trusty broom. "Not so fast, young man!" I said, tapping the window frame with the broom. He sighed and came back inside. "You're a tough one, Grandma," he admitted. I just smiled and offered him a cookie. "Stick with me, and you'll learn a thing or two," I replied.

Grandma's keeping that prisoner in check, and she's not letting him escape anytime soon!
