Dive into the excitement of StopotS, the thrilling categories word game that's taking the gaming world by storm! Also known as Scattergories, "City Country River," or simply Stop, this game promises hours of fun and mental agility. Here's how you can get in on the action:

At the outset, players select a variety of categories that will set the stage for the game's dynamic play. Think of categories like Names, Animals, Objects, and more. Once the categories are set, the game master randomly selects a letter, and the race begins. Your challenge? Fill in each category with a word that starts with the chosen letter. Quick thinking is key!

The first player to complete all categories shouts "STOP!"—and just like that, the round is over for everyone. Now comes the fun part: reviewing the answers. Through a democratic voting process, players check each other's responses for validity. Score 10 points for each unique and correct answer, 5 points if someone else had the same word, and zero for any incorrect entries. Keep playing rounds until you reach the predetermined limit, and see who emerges as the word wizard!

Worried about storage space on your device? No problem! You can enjoy StopotS right in your browser at stopots.com. So, gather your friends, sharpen your wits, and let the word games begin!
