How to Start an Infested Clear Mission

To begin, visit one of the five traders (Rekt, Jen, Bob, Hugh, or Joe). Mission difficulty depends on the tier (higher tier = harder) and biome (Wasteland missions are tougher than forest missions).

Infested missions unlock after completing 10 Tier 1 missions, granting access to Tier 2 and beyond. Expect significantly more and tougher zombies (radiated, cops, ferals) compared to standard clear missions. Tier 6 missions are the most demanding but offer the best rewards for well-equipped players. The objective remains consistent: eliminate all enemies within a designated area.

Completing an Infested Clear Mission

Upon reaching the Point of Interest (POI), activate the mission marker. Leaving the area or dying results in mission failure. The game often guides players along a pre-determined path, often illuminated. Avoid this path! It frequently triggers traps.

Pro Tip: Carry building blocks to escape traps or create alternative routes for flanking enemies.
