If you quit during a retrieval mission or meet your demise (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), be prepared to start that level over from scratch. *R.E.P.O.* deletes your save file upon death or mid-level exit, so timing your saves correctly is crucial.

To successfully save your game, you need to reach the end of each level.
