Monster Hunter Now Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Lands Soon!

Get ready for an exciting new chapter in *Monster Hunter Now* as Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is set to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has shared all the juicy details about what you can expect in this upcoming season, including fresh challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and the introduction of new monsters.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

Before the official start of Season 5, you're in for a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This monster is making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. Once the season kicks off, you'll also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros in the game.

Weapons are getting some much-needed balance adjustments to ensure every weapon type remains viable and fun to use. The Sword & Shield, for instance, will receive a buff making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. Additionally, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also getting a significant upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will effectively reduce the damage taken when blocking. Stay tuned for more tweaks, which will be detailed in the full patch notes released on March 6th.

And There Is More!

If you've been struggling with an overflowing inventory, *Monster Hunter Now* Season 5 has good news for you. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, offering an extra 250 slots to help you manage your gear more effectively.

As part of *Monster Hunter Now's* 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for a variety of awesome rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.

So, prepare for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store. And while you're at it, don't forget to check out our next news piece on *Honkai Impact 3rd’s* v8.1 Update ‘Drumming in New Resolutions.’
