Monster Hunter Wilds Patch 1.000.05.00 Resolves Quest Issues, No Performance Boost Yet
Capcom has recently released Monster Hunter Wilds hotfix 1.000.05.00 across all platforms, introducing crucial improvements and fixes to enhance your gaming experience. This patch specifically targets various progression blockers and resolves numerous bugs, although it does not include performance enhancements as outlined in the patch notes below.
Despite its record-breaking launch, Monster Hunter Wilds currently holds a 'mixed' user review rating on Steam, primarily due to performance issues on PC. However, its success is undeniable, having sold an impressive 8 million copies in just three days, making it the fastest-selling Capcom game to date. The game also achieved the fifth highest concurrent player count on Steam, peaking at 1,384,608 players, surpassing the likes of Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Elden Ring. For comparison, Monster Hunter: World reached a peak of 334,684 players.
Looking ahead, a title update for Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for early April, promising a new endgame area for gathering and more monster hunting adventures for players to explore.
