《自杀小队：杀死正义联盟》对Rocksteady和母公司华纳兄弟游戏来说都是一个成本高昂的项目。华纳兄弟在2月份曾报告称，该游戏的销量未能达到预期。几个月后，部分由于《自杀小队》表现不佳，Rocksteady对其质检部门进行了大规模裁员。大约一半的部门员工被解雇，人数从33人减少到15人。
