If you're looking to diagnose issues with your Suzuki vehicle, the SZ Viewer A1 application is your go-to tool, especially when used with an ELM327 adapter. This software is designed to read and reset Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), including both extended and historical codes, from a variety of Suzuki control modules. Whether it's the powertrain, engine, AT/CVT, ABS/ESP, SRS, AC/HVAC, BCM, PS, EMCD/4WD/AHL, TPMS, or other modules, SZ Viewer A1 has you covered. However, keep in mind that not all modules may be present on every Suzuki vehicle.

SZ Viewer A1 communicates with your Suzuki's control modules using specific protocols like K-Line and CAN bus, in addition to standard OBDII protocols. This makes it compatible with Japanese domestic market (JDM) Suzuki cars, even those that don't support OBDII protocols.

To use this application effectively, you'll need an ELM327 adapter that supports Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and it must be version 1.3 or later. Be wary of fake adapters labeled as v2.1 or some v1.5, as they do not support the necessary ELM327 commands required for this application.

It's important to note that the older SDL protocol, found in pre-2000 model year vehicles (5V levels, pin #9 of OBDII connector), is not supported due to physical incompatibility with the ELM327 adapter.

During diagnostic procedures, you might encounter codes like B1504 or B150A on the HVAC module. These codes often indicate insufficient illumination of the sunload sensor and are not necessarily indicative of a malfunction in the sensor itself.
